Bio

Kassidy Montondo joined the Bison staff in 2023 as the program's first head coach in program history 

  • Came to Bethany after spending time at West Virginia Wesleyan 
  • Earned her first coaching spot as a graduate assistant at West Liberty University 

  • Competed at Davis & Elkins and was a four-year starter. 
  • Was awarded All-MEC Second Team honors as a sophomore (2019)
  • Competed in a variety of events including compulsory acro, pyramid and tumbling. 
  • She specialized in toss and qualified for the MEC Championship in 2019 and 2021. 
  • Montondo excelled in the classroom at D&E and was recognized on the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll in 2019 and 2021. She was named to the MEC Commissioner's Honor Roll three times as a Senator. Montondo earned President's List and Dean's List recognition throughout her academic career at D&E. 

  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and human services from Davis & Elkins. 
  • Earned her master's in clinical psychology from West Liberty University.
