Bio

Molly Nuri enters her first year as the head coach in 2023-24 

  • Was the head girl's lacrosse coach at Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh (2023) 
  • Assistant coach at Canon-McMillan for the girl's basketball team (2022) 
  • Assistant coach at Saint Vincent College (2017-18); led the Bearcats to the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) Championship (2017). 
  • In 2018, the Bearcats finished 12-4 (9-2 ORLC) before falling to W&J in the first round of the conference tournament. 
  • Head coach for the Pittsburgh True (2016). 

  • As a 2015 graduate of Saint Vincent, Nuri was a four-year standout for the women's lacrosse program
  • She ranks first in career assists (136) and second in program history for career points (241)
  • Tallied 105 goals during her career, which ranks as the sixth most in program history
  • PAC Player of the Year for Saint Vincent College 
  • Nuri helped the Bearcats to back-to-back conference championships in 2014 and 2015.
  • She racked up 110 ground balls, 68 draw controls, and 23 caused turnovers during her four-year stint as a player.

  • The Pittsburgh native earned her bachelor's degree in English with a certification in secondary education (7-12) in 2015, and in 2018, Nuri earned her master's degree in counselor education (K-12) from Saint Vincent College.
