Bio

 
  • Finelli enters her fifth season in 2023.

  • In 2022, Finelli led the Bison to their first 10 win season since 1999. The Green and White earned a PAC Tournament bid for the first time since 2004 while setting team records with the most goals in a season (55) and highest win percentage (.605). The Bison went undefeated in non-conference play (6-0-2) and had the most PAC wins during Finelli's tenure. 

  • Her players earned 11 All-Conference Honors over the last three seasons, led by Riley Meyers who was a three time All-PAC selection. 

  • In 2021, Finelli was selected from more than 300 applicants to be a part of the highly-esteemed 30 Under 30 Program by United Soccer Coaches. This elite program was created in 2013 to afford young coaching professionals top-level education and mentorship. Each member of the 30 Under 30 class receives an educational scholarship which provides registrations for the United Soccer Coaches Convention and an Advanced Diploma course of the coach's choosing. In addition, members of the 30 Under 30 Program are matched with a mentor dedicated to fostering their growth in the game and expanding their coaching network.

  • As an assistant coach at Seton Hill (2017-19), the Griffins had two of their most successful seasons as a member of the NCAA
  • Seton Hill finished with twelve wins and advanced to the PSAC Tournament for the first time in school history; finishing 10-0 on their home pitch
  • The Griffins also excelled off the field as they were named the Westmoreland YWCA's Women's Sports Team of the Year and PSAC Top Team GPA Award winner
  • Finelli spent one season at Arcadia University as assistant coach; helping lead the Knights to a 17-4 record and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2005

 

  • Finelli was a four-year letter winner and three-year starter for the NCAA Division I Lafayette College
  • She made appearances in all but six games throughout her career as an attacker
  • She was a three-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
  • Received the Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley Outstanding Athlete Award her senior year
  • In high school she was a 2x Express-Times Player of the Year (2009, 2011), First Team All-State (2011), and a 3x LVC All-Star selection (2009-2011)

  • Graduated from Lafayette College where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in Psychology
  • Finelli resides in Bethany, W.Va with her husband Brad.
