Bethany's Antonio Rudolph Named PAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Nov. 16 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – After leading the Bethany College men's basketball team to a 100-67 victory over Penn State-DuBois in their opening game, Bison junior guard Antonio Rudolph (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) has been named the PAC's Player of the Week, announced the conference office on Monday.

Rudolph helped the Bison get the 2015-16 season off on the right foot, orchestrating the offense nicely from his starting backcourt position. In the game, Rudolph posted career highs in both points and rebounds, posting his first-career double-double. He tallied 13 points on an efficient 6-of-10 shooting while collecting a game-high 11 boards.

The top assist man for the Green & White in the game, Rudolph totaled seven dimes, coming just three helpers shy of a triple-double. With his numbers the Bison totaled 20 assists, while turning the ball over just 12 times.

All of Rudolph's career highs helped the Bison post 100 points for the first time since the 2013-14 season. The Player of the Week honor also marked a first for the junior.

Rudolph and the Bison will be back in action on Tuesday, November 17 as they welcome #11 Marietta to the Hummel Field House. The matchup with the Pioneers is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
