Men's Track and Field: McClinton earns PAC Newcomer of the Week

BETHANY, W.Va. - Freshman Caliyph McClinton earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week honor after his performance during week six. 

McClinton earned his second newcomer of the week honor after earning first place and another podium finish at the Benson/Hodge Memorial Invitational at Robert Morris University. McClinton took first in the 100 with a time of 10.99, which was his personal best on the season. His sub 11 time was faster than multiple Division I and NAIA runners such as Duquene and Point Park, respectively. McClinton moved into the second place spot in the PAC for fastest 100m time with his finish at Robert Morris. 

McClinton also placed second in the 200m, falling to a top ten fastest all time runner in Duquesne history who he narrowly edged in the 100. McClinton's 22.42 was a personal best as a Bison.
