Bethany responded with 10-unanswered points, capped off with a Jones layup, to take a 17-11 lead at the 13:06-mark of the first half. The Wolverines managed to tie the game with six-straight points of their own, before Bethany quickly re-established the lead. The Bison went on to out-score Grove City 18-to-8 over the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 35-25 lead into halftime.

A pair of baskets to open the second half pulled Grove City within six points at 35-29 with 18:27, but the Bison assumed control of the evening with a 14-3 run over the ensuing five minutes of the game to take a 49-32 lead with 13:18 remaining in the game. Bethany enjoyed a double-digit cushion over the final 16 minutes of the game and pushed its lead to as many as 22 points near the final minute of the contest to easily claim its sixth PAC win this season.

Bethany was opportunistic all night. The Bison forced 16 turnovers which led directly to 24 points. Bethany scored all 10 of the game's fastbreak points and even held a 38-to-28 edge in points in the paint.
