Men's golf competes at Grove City Invitational

GROVE CITY, Pa. (Sept. 12) - The Bethany College men's golf team opened the season at the Grove City College Invitational Tuesday afternoon.

THE MATCHUP

EVENT NOTES

  • Sophomore Aiden Albert (Saxonburg, Pa./Knoch) carded the low-score for the Bison with a 22-over 94 at the one day event to place 39th out of 49 golfers.
  • Freshman Marc Kozlov (McKean, Pa./General McLane) finished second for Bethany with a round score of 98 to take 41st overall.
  • Grove City won the team honors at the event. Four of their five golfers finished in the top-12 in the final standings.
  • La Roche's Ben Mullins won medalist honors with a two-under 70 round.

  • The Bison will take on Waynesburg in a head-to-head matchup at Southpointe Golf Course on Tuesday, September 19 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
