Waters leads group of three All-PAC selections

Nov. 10 - GREENVILLE, Pa. -​ Senior midfielder Jack Waters (Epsom, United Kingdom/Glyn School) highlighted a group of three All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) selections  announced the league office Thursday afternoon.

Waters was named to the first team and was joined by junior midfielder Adam Franco (Inglewood, Calif./Carter), who was named Second-Team All-PAC, and senior goalkeeper Callum Appleby (Maidstone, United Kingdom/Maidstone), who was named Honorable Mention.

Waters led the team and ranked fourth in the PAC with 25 points, while leading the league with 11 assists. The Glyn School alum started all 20 games for Bethany this season led the conference with 3.4 shots per game. Waters' is now a two-time all-league honoree after being named a second-team selection in 2015.

Franco finished fourth on the team with nine points in his second season with the Bison. He ended the year in a tie for third on the team with three goals and slotted third with three assists. The Inglewood, California native also ranked second on the squad with 41 shots, including 22 on goal.

Appleby earned his first all-conference laurel after minding the net for the Green and White's best season since 2011, going 8-8-2 on the season. His 100 saves (5.2 per game) ranked third in the PAC to go along with a .735 save percentage. 

Bethany finished this season 8-10-2 after earning a spot in the PAC Championship tournament for the first time since 2011. The Bison fell to top-seeded Geneva College who went on to defeat Thomas More for the league championship crown.
