Men's Track and Field: McClinton earns PAC weekly honors

BETHANY, W.Va. - Freshman Caliyph McClinton earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week honor after his performance during week two.

McClinton had three top five finishes at the WVU Stan Romanoski Invitational Saturday, He finished fifth in the 100 with a time of 11.20 and placed fourth in the 200 with a time of 23.42. McClinton also anchored the Bison's 4x100 relay to a fourth place finish with a time of 44.17.

The weekly laurel is his first of his career.

The Bison return to the track on Saturday, Mar. 30 when they travel down the road to neighbor West Liberty for the Tim Weaver Invitational.
