Bison compete at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio (Oct. 28) – The Bethany College Swimming & Diving team's competed against Baldwin Wallace College on Saturday in a non-conference meet.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- The Bison men were led in the pool by junior Cheyne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford). Stresky posted winning times in the 200- and 500-yard freestyles. He recorded a time of one minute, 49.82 seconds in the 200 and hit the final wall in the 500 at five minutes, 2.56 seconds to earn medalist honors in each.
- Junior Mark Tichenor (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brentwood) also finished with a winning time, taking first-place in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 12 minutes, 12.52 seconds.
- The Bethany women were paced by senior Alaina Geer (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield), who won both the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke events. She established a time of two minutes, 27.71 seconds in the 200-yard IM and hit the wall at one minute, 8.89 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke to place first.

- The Bison will have a week off before traveling to Altoona, Pennsylvania for a non-conference meet against Penn State-Altoona on Saturday, November 11.
