Bethany, W.Va. - United Soccer Coaches has announced the 30 individuals selected from a pool of almost 300 applicants as the 2021-22 class of the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 Program.  Among the 30 accepted individuals is Bethany's women's soccer head coach Alyssa Finelli.

"I am incredibly excited to have been selected for this highly-esteemed 30 Under 30 Program by United Soccer Coaches," expressed Finelli. "I'm looking forward to getting started and expanding upon my network through connecting with coaches of different backgrounds and experiences in order to foster my own development both on and off the field."

The 2020-21 class includes coaches from the youth, high school and college game. See a breakdown of this year's class below.

17 College coaches

9 Youth coaches

4 High School coaches

Launched in 2013, the 30 Under 30 Program is a year-long education and mentorship opportunity designed to support up-and-coming members of the coaching profession who are 30 years of age or younger. The program gives participants exposure to mentorship, and the opportunity to take advantage of educational offerings, such as advanced diplomas and the United Soccer Coaches Convention.

"It is a great honor to be a part of this program and I will look to proudly represent Bethany throughout the process" added Finelli.

Finelli is in her third season with the Bison. Her players have earned four All-PAC Honors over the previous two seasons, led by Riley Meyers who was a three-time All-PAC selection. Prior to Bethany, Finelli spent two seasons at Seton Hill as the Griffins assistant coach. In her first season with Seton Hill, the Griffins had their most successful season as a member of the NCAA.  The team finished with twelve wins and advanced to the PSAC Tournament for the first time in school history.
