PAC Releases Preseason Polls and Runners to Watch

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) is announcing its men's and women's cross-country preseason polls, along with the runners to watch list, for the 2022 season.

The women are picked to finish tenth, while the men are picked to finish eleventh.

Leading the Bison on the PAC runners to watch list are seniors Danielle Williams, Summer Whelan, Dylan Wise and sophomore Sebastian Ballestero-Farias.

"The upperclassmen have returned this season with a great positive attitude, ready to lead and ready to work," says Head Coach Andy Upton. "Combine that with some hungry freshman ready to learn and compete, and it has made for a great atmosphere to be around so far."

"My number one goal is to keep this atmosphere for the whole season and to have each individual see continued improvement from the start of the season to the end of the season," adds Upton. "If we can do that, we will be in a great spot as a team to take the next step of competing with the other teams in the conference."

The Bison kick off the 2022 season on Friday, Sept. 2, when they travel to Washington, Pa., for the W&J Invitational at 5:45 p.m.
