Prior to the season being interrupted, how was the year going - what was the team's expectations and goals?

We lost some games that we definitely shouldn't have at the beginning of the year.  In the last couple games, our team was starting to come together and we 100% believe we were going to run through PAC conference play and win the championship.

What are your personal career goals? Jobs, internships, interests moving forward?

Next fall and winter, I plan to apply to several Physician Assistants schools.

Do you have any advice for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Bethany?

It can't be stressed enough that freshman year is a time where most kids don't get a ton of playing time and it's the best time to get in the weight room during the season, and then get ahead in terms of building relationships with professors to make sure that you will succeed academically.

What has it meant to you being a Bison?

It's been full of highs and lows, but it's been awesome to be a part of the group that turned around the baseball team in recent years.  After two years of losing, we made a great run, were in the midst of a potentially special season, and have every intention of coming back next year stronger than ever.

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?

My parents have always had my back throughout my high school and college career, both in the classroom and on the field.  Coach JT came in and embraced us as a group and helped to bring out the best in us.  The professors at Bethany as a whole are very committed to helping our student athletes succeed, especially when it comes to missing class for sports.  Dr. Lovano has been the professor who I have become closest with at Bethany, and he has always been supportive of me in the classroom, on the field, and with my personal life.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused the 2020 spring sports to be cancelled. Bethany College wants to thank all of our seniors for representing the Bison in a positive manner and for all their hard work and dedication over their careers at Bethany.
