Rudolph, Jones repeat as All-PAC selections

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 28) – Bethany College senior guard Antonio Rudolph (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) repeated as an All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team selection Tuesday afternoon.

Rudolph was joined on the all-conference announcement by junior guard Calique Jones (Pittsburgh, Pa./Obama Academy), who was named an honorable mention for the second-consecutive season.

The versatile Rudolph led the team in assists (3.2) and steals (2.0), ranked second on the team in scoring (12.3), field goal percentage (48 percent) and blocks (1.0), and slotted fourth in rebounds (5.3) per game. A 2016 All-PAC First Team selection, he finished the season with a pair of double-doubles and tallied a career-high 29 points in a game at Thiel earlier this season. His 2.0 steals per game ranked him second in the entire league.

The New Castle High School alum wrapped up the regular-season with 285 career assists, which rank him in a tie for fifth in school history. He will have a chance to stand alone in fifth-place all-time when the Bison face Penn State-Altoona in an opening round game of the ECAC Division III Tournament on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 p.m.

Jones was named an honorable mention for the second-straight season after leading the team and ranking fifth in the PAC with 15.0 points per game. Jones also ranked second on the team with 1.3 steals and 2.1 assists per game and his 405 total points scored this season ranks him second in the PAC.

The Bison will look to extend their season on Wednesday, March 1 when they host an opening round game of the ECAC Tournament at the Hummel Field House against Penn State-Altoona at 7 p.m.
