Bison Softball to Forego ECAC South Regional Tournament

May 12 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Due to potential weather and logistical concerns, the Bison softball team will not be participating in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Regional Championships originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15, on the campus of Hood College.

The ECAC South Regional Softball Tournament will now be played between Cabrini College and Arcadia University, as the host Blazers have also elected to not participate over the course of the weekend.

The Green & White end the 2016 season with a 22-20 record, reaching the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament title game, and qualifying for the ECAC Championships for the second-consecutive season.

Bethany finished the campaign as winners of 13 of their last 18 games, while also placing four of its' members on the 2016 PAC All-Conference teams. Finishing two games over .500, the Bison captured a winning record for the seventh time in their last nine seasons.
