Women's Soccer: Bison Cruise in 4-0 Victory Over Defiance

Defiance, Ohio – The Bethany College women's soccer team finished the Purple and Gold Classic with a 4-0 win over host Defiance Sunday afternoon.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• Freshman Kaitlin Pickett hit the back of the net with the help of Mary Marshall at the 4:26 mark
• Mary Marshall added another goal giving the Bison a 2-0 lead
• The Bison led 2-0 at the half
• Jayda Larsen scored in the 53^rd minute
• The final goal of the game was from Kaitlin Pickett

BY THE NUMBERS

• 13 – Freshman Mary Marshall has 13 points on the season with five goals scored
• 21 – Bethany took 21 shots compared to Defiance's five shots
• 99 – Sophomore Kiersten Collins earned her first collegiate start and win in the net
• 2 – Kaitlin Pickett took two shots with both shots resulting in a Bethany goals
