Meyers breaks 55-meter hurdles record at BW meet

BEREA, Ohio (Feb. 9) - Led by a school-record time by freshman Riley Meyers (Dubois, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic), the Bethany women's track & field team competed at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet Friday.

Meyers established a new school-record in the 55-meter hurdles during the preliminary round, crossing the tape in 9.17 seconds. She would go on to finish eighth overall in the finals of the event, while senior Ashley Borsch (Richmond, Ohio/Edison) finished sixth.

Bethany's distance team was paced by senior Michaela Ross (Wahiawa, Hawaii/Leilehua), who registered a new personal-record of her own in the mile run, finishing with a time of five minutes, 53 seconds.
