Chambers and Thompson Earn PAC Weekly Honors
Greenville, Pa (Apr. 22) – Bethany College indoor track and field athletes Grace Chambers and Keyohn Thompson were announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Athlete and Rookie of the week for their performances last week.
Chambers earned her first PAC weekly honor of the outdoor season. She won the 400 on Wednesday at the John Falconi Invitational with a time of 1 minute, 00.57 seconds. The finish is currently lands her first in the PAC all performance list. Chambers posted a third-place finish in the 200 with a time of 27.00 seconds. The finish ranks fifth in the PAC thus far. Also on Wednesday, Chambers added a fourth place finish in the long jump to her belt, landing in 4.71m.
Thompson earn his first PAC weekly honor of the outdoor season. He earned the win in the 100 with a time of 11.22 seconds. He was the top Division III competitor in the 200 finishing in third place with a time of 22.98. His 100 mete time ranks seventh in the PAC all performance list while his 200 ranks 10th.
The Bison are in action on Thursday for the PAC Outdoor Championships.
