Women's Track & Field: Tice earns USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Bethany College women's track and field was represented by junior Grace Tice (Mansfield, Pa. /North Penn-Mansfield) on the 2023 NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team, as announced on Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Tice received All-Region accolades in the javelin throw. She is the first Bison track and field athlete to receive All-Region honors since 2021 when Riley Meyers earned All-Region accolades in both the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles.

A record-breaker performer for the Bison, Tice, recorded her best throw at the Westminster Invitational, where she reached 40.99 meters. Tice won four meets, highlighted by her first conference title at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Championships.

To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top five individuals in their event in their respective region on the TFRRS Descending Order List. In addition, each member of a top three relay team was selected for the distinction.
