Men's Lacrosse: Smith earns PAC Specialist of the Week Honors

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College men's lacrosse senior goalie Andrew Smith (Erie, Pa./McDowell) earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) weekly award honors for his performance during week 5 of the 2023 season.

Smith led the Bison to a 2-0 week making 27 saves in goal. In the 9-6 victory over Wilmington, he stopped 11 shots, including eight in the second half while scooping up two ground balls. In Saturday's 16-4 triumph over Mount St. Joseph, Smith posted a save percentage of 84.2 percent by making 16 saves on 19 shots in a little over 38 minutes of action as the Bison won their second game in a row.  

The Bison return to action on Wednesday, Mar. 22 as they travel to face La Roche University in a non-conference tilt.
