Men's Lacrosse Dealt Loss at Hiram

Hiram, Ohio – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team traveled to Hiram, Ohio to face the Hiram College Terriers, Thursday afternoon at Henry Field. The Bison fell to the Terriers, 19-8. The Green and White were led by a trio of Bison with two goals apiece off the sticks of Aarin Burton, Clay Yingling, and Tristan Shaffer

GAME OVERVIEW

Hiram never trailed in the contest taking an early 5-2 lead at the end of the first period. Aarin Burton and Clay Yingling hit the back of the net for the Green and White. In the second period, the Terriers continued to tack onto their lead. Bethany scored twice in the second period off of the sticks of Burton and Khoury Kloss. The Terriers led 11-4 heading into halftime.

Nick Melita added another goal for the Bison in the third period. However, Hiram added a few more goals to build a commanding lead. Both Yingling and Tristan Shaffer hit the back of the net in the fourth period but the deficit was too much for the Bison to overcome.
