BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Sept. 29) - The Bethany College men's soccer team was defeated 4-0 at Geneva in the team's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener Friday night at the Meriman Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneva scored the game's first goal in the 30th-minute of the match on a ball and then extended its lead to two goals in the 37th-minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- The Golden Tornadoes did not relent in the second half, notching a third goal in the 63rd-minute, before adding a fourth insurance marker in the 85th-minute before the final horn sounded.
MATCH NOTES
- Geneva maintained a 24-to-11 advantage in shots and a 12-to-6 edge in shots-on-goal for the match.
- Senior goalkeeper Riley Harrison (Ballarat, Austrailia/Ballarat) made six saves in the loss, while making his second-consecutive start.
- Freshmen Luis Arteaga (Pachuca, Mexico/Leonardo Bravo) and Jose Lujan (Madrid, Spain/Punta Galea) each finished with three shots for the Bison, with Arteaga putting a pair on net.
- Geneva is the defending league-champion and was picked as the preseason favorite by the PAC coaches.
