Blango Breaks School Record with Second Place Finish at ECAC

New York, NY- Four Bethany College track and field athletes competed at the ECAC DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in the New Balance T&F Center at the Armory.

Charles Blango finished second in the weight throw. He threw a mark of 15.61m, breaking his own school record that he previously set at the PAC Championships just over a week ago.

Freshman Keyohn Thompson finished fifth in the 60 meter dash, crossing the finish line in 7.18 seconds.

Freshman Grace Chambers finished sixth in the 400m. Chambers crossed the line in 1:01.44.

Senior Malik Ellis finishes out his indoor career with an eighth place finish in the long jump. Ellis landed in 5.80m.
