Women's Lacrosse: Bison comeback falls short against Tigers
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Bethany College women's lacrosse traveled to Edwards-Maurer Field to face Wittenberg in a non-conference tilt. The Bison trailed and battled back but their comeback fell short, 11-10 to the Tigers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bison held an early 3-0 lead through half of the first period. Karley Trinidad opened the game scoring just 11 seconds into the game. Both Cassidy Mailloux and Jada Carter both scored for the Bison in the first period. Wittenberg battled back tying the game at 3-3 with 35 seconds left in the first quarter.
- The Tigers outscored the Bison 5-1 to take an 8-4 lead into the intermission break.
- Both teams were even in scoring in the third period with the Bison trailing by four goals.
- In the final period, the Bison battled to chip away at the Tigers' lead. Gracie Gonzales scored just 14 seconds into the fourth. Karley Trindad and Cassidy Mailloux added goals in the final period. The Bison comeback fell short as the Bison were held scoreless in the final nine minutes.

- Four Bison scored 2 goals (Jada Carter, Karley Trinidad, Cassidy Mailloux and Gracie Gonzales).
- Emily Wenger and Alexa Taylor both added goals. Wenger finished with one assist.
- Cassidy Mailloux and Emily Wenger both had six caused turnovers.

- Wittenberg held the slight shot advantage, 29-26.
