WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Bethany College women's soccer team continued their road trip to Wilmington College, Sunday afternoon. The Quakers downed the Bison, 5-2.
THE MATCHUP
- Wilmington 5, Bethany 2
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Quakers took an early 1-0 lead just four minutes into the match. They added two more goals to take a 3-0 lead over the Green and White.
- In the 30th minute, sophomore Brooke Fuleki scored the Bison's first goal of the season to put the Bison on the board.
- The Quakers led 3-1 at the half.
- Wilmington would add two more goals in the second half, taking a 5-1 lead.
- Bethany's Jada Benjamin found the back of the net in the 65th minute.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Wilmington took an overwhelming 22 shots while holding the Bison to five.
- 12 of the Quakers 22 shots were on goal.

- Brooke Fuleki scored the Bison's first goal of the season and her fourth of her career.
