Women's Soccer: Early first half deficit too much too overcome as Bison fall to Wolverines

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College women's soccer team hosted Grove City College on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium Friday evening. The Wolverines defeated the Bison, 4-0.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Wolverines used a strong first half to take a commanding lead over the Bison. Emma Herrmann registered three goals for the Bison, scoring in the 11th, 21st, and 25th minutes.
  • The Wolverines added one final goal in the 61st minute.
  • Bethany was held scoreless for the ninth time this season.

  • Grove City outshot Bethany, 16-8 with 11 shots on goal.
