Baseball: Stoneman earns All-Region honors from D3baseball

BETHANY, W.Va. – Recent Bethany College graduate Colton Stoneman (West Farmington, Ohio / Labrae Local) earned a spot on the 2023 D3baseball.com All-Region 7 Third Team, the organization announced Monday morning.

This marks the first time in Stoneman's career that he has received All-Region honors from D3baseball.com.

The senior second baseman finished the season earning All-PAC Second Team selection, hit .412 in 39 games with 66 hits, 34 runs scored, and 23 RBIs. In 340 career at bats, he hit .350 with 119 hits, 58 runs scored, 55 RBIs, and 13 doubles.

Stoneman is the second Bison to receive All-Region honors from D3baseball.com since they started handing out All-Region honors in 2012. Brad Kubis earned All-Region Mid-East Third Team honors in 2012 as a utility player.

The 2023 season marked the eleventh year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.
