Men's Basketball: Titans Charge Past Bison on Senior Day

Bethany, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's basketball team celebrated senior day prior to today's PAC matchup with the Westminster Titans. The Titans charged past the Bison, 97-64.

GAME FLOW

  • Westminster took a quick lead over the Bison leading 8-0 before Asa Klimchock put the Bison on the board at the 17:51 mark.
  • Bethany cut the lead to three, 8-5, with a shot from Brendan Riggs from downtown.
  • The Titans quickly pulled ahead by double-digits and took a commanding 29 point lead into halftime.
  • In the second half, the Titans continued to dominate the Bison. Westminster led by as many as 39 points.

IN THE BOX SCORE

  • Logan Wright led the Bison with 17 points shooting 7-for-13 from the field and pulled down five rebounds. He had a team high three steals.
  • Senior Trent Uphold had six points and a team high seven rebounds.
  • Senior DJ White Jr. had a team high six assists.
  • Brendan Riggs and Nathan Harris had 9 points each.

IN THE GAME NOTES

  • Bethany College welcomed back the 1978 and members of the 1982 PAC Championship teams. The 1982 team celebrated their 40th anniversary of winning the PAC Championship.

Bethany College Men's basketball enter the PAC Tournament as the ten seed and will face seventh seed Franciscan on Monday, February 21 in Steubenville, Ohio.
