Men's Soccer: Bethany Drops PAC Opener to Chatham

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Bethany College men's soccer team traveled to Pittsburgh, to face the Chatham University Cougars to open PAC conference play Wednesday night at Graham Field.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Chatham scored first in the first half in the 35th minute
  • The Bison knotted the match at 1-1 with a goal from Ramiro Veiga
  • Minutes later, the Cougars took advantage of a Bison mishap and scored to take the lead back

BY THE NUMBERS

  • The Bison had six card while Chatham had three
  • Bethany outshot Chatham, 14-12
  • Adis Salihovic made four saves
  • The Bison had seven athletes go the distance playing all 90 minutes

Bethany will return to the pitch on Saturday at 3:30 pm when they face PAC foe Franciscan at Hoag Field.
