Women's Basketball: Botti earns PAC Newcomer of the Week

BETHANY, W.Va. – Freshman Kate Botti earned her third Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week honor after her performance during week 13.

Botti helped lead the Bison to two PAC victories by averaging 12 points and 10.5 rebounds, while shooting 56 percent (10-of-18) from the floor and a perfect 100 percent (3-of-3) from the free-throw line. In a 67-66 victory over Saint Vincent, she scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, and added three steals. In Saturday's win over Geneva, Botti led the Bison with 14 rebounds and added 16 points while shooting 67 percent (6-of-9) and also had three blocks and two assists.

The Bison return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 14 when they host Thiel College at 5:30 pm inside Hummel Field House.
