Women's Basketball: Garrison and Mason earn All-PAC Honors

BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College women's basketball athletes Lindsey Garrison and Makenzee Mason earned All-PAC honors announced Tuesday evening by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and the PAC Sports Network.

The teams and annual award winners, determined through voting by the league's 11 head coaches.

Junior Lindsey Garrison earned All-PAC first team for the second time in her career. Garrison averaged 15.6 points per game while shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from behind the arc. She ranks first in the PAC and ninth in the NCAA Division III with 78 made three-pointers, and her 2.89 made three-pointers per game ranks first in the PAC and 12th in the NCAA Division III.

The Triadelphia, W.Va. native set the single-season made three-point record with 78 three-pointers, breaking her own record that she previously set freshman year. Against Franciscan in November, she hit 10 three's to break her own record with most made three-pointers in a game. She currently ranks fourth all-time on Bethany's career made three-pointer list with 155.

Senior Makenzee Mason finishes her career as a Bison with All-PAC Honorable Mention honors for the third time in her career. She averaged 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game this season. Mason totaled 976 career points with a 38.8 shooting percentage from the field. From the charity stripe, Mason ranked fourth in the PAC making 76-of-99 (76.8%).

Junior Ashleigh Wheeler earned a spot on the PAC Sportsmanship team.

Bethany concluded their season in the PAC semifinals against Chatham University. The Bison finished third in the PAC with a record of 15-12 overall and 12-8 in the PAC.
