Women's Volleyball: Marthins Earns PAC Weekly Honors

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Bethany College women's volleyball junior middle blocker, Emma Marthins earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week honors for her efforts last week.

Marthins led Bethany to a pair of pivotal league wins last week, combining to hit .349 with 28 kills (3.11/s) in a four-set win over Geneva Wednesday and a five-set road victory at Thiel Friday night.  Against Geneva she hit .370 with 13 kills, two digs and a pair of blocks. Friday at Thiel Marthins hit .321 with a season-high 15 kills, two digs and a block.

She ranks second in the PAC in both hitting percentage (.287) and total blocks (97).

It is Marthins second weekly laurel this season.

Bethany host Washington & Jefferson Presidents on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7 pm inside Hummel Field House.
