Men's Soccer: Bison Shutout Yeomen

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Bethany College men's soccer team bounced back with a 2-0 win over Oberlin College Yeomen.  

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Bethany and Oberlin were scoreless in the first half.
  • In the second half, the Bison found the back of the net after Dashaun Thomas scored off a pass from Fausto Gionchetti.
  • Minutes later, Jahzinho O'Garro doubled the Bison score after finding the back of the net on a penalty kick.

MATCH NOTES

  • Oberlin held the shot advantage, 19-11.
  • Matteo Pintus registered five saves.
  • The Bison did not attempt a corner kick.
