GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Bethany College men's soccer team faced Thiel College in a PAC match Tuesday afternoon. The Bison battled back to win 2-1 over the Tomcats.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Thiel scored in the 7th minute of the match to hold a 1-0 lead.
- In the 29th minute the Bison deadlocked the match at 1-1 after Jahzinho O'Garro found Arnold Fontes-Candida who headed the ball to the back of the net.
- The Bison took the lead in the 64th minute when Jahzinho O'Garro nailed a penalty kick.
MATCH NOTES
- The Bison held the Tomcats to just three shots, while the Bison took 26 shots (13 on goal).
- Jahzinho O'Garro had the game winning goal and assisted the game tying goal.
- Matteo Pintus registered one save.
