BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's soccer team faced the Washington & Jefferson College Presidents on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match, the Bison celebrated their three seniors for their contributions to the program. The Bison edged the Presidents 2-0.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- It was a scoreless first half for the Bison and Presidents.
- Sebastian Arrocain put the Bison on the board first in the 60th minute of the match. Salvador Issler was credited with the assist.
- In the 81st minute, Jahzinho O'Garro scored his sixth goal of the season to double the Bison lead.
MATCH NOTES
- The Bison held the slight shot advantage over the Presidents, 12-10.
- Adis Salihovic earned the shutout win making five saves.
