Offense Explodes for 18 Runs in Win Over Clarks Summit

Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Bethany College baseball team took on Clarks Summit in a non-conference 9-inning game at the Ripken Experience Tuesday afternoon. The Bison exploded to an 18-1 win over the Defenders. Seth Gordon led the Bison going 2-2 with two homeruns, two runs scored and a team high seven runs batted in.

Bethany rolled past Clarks Summit, 18-1   

The Bison took an early 3-0 lead in the first and never looked back. The Green and White would explode for 15 more runs and held the Defenders to just one run on three hits.

Seth Gordon had a career day at the plate. Gordon drove in seven runs on two hits to lift Bethany over Clarks Summit. To add to his day, he had two homeruns including a grand slam in the fifth inning.

Bethany had a total of four homeruns on the day. Ryan Anselmino and Kevin Roach both went yard in the third inning.
