Baseball Hangs On for Win Against Lancaster Bible

Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Bethany College baseball team took on Lancaster Bible Thursday afternoon for a non-conference contest. The Bison hung onto for a narrow win over the Chargers, 10-8. Seth Gordon led the Green and White with three runs batted in while going 2-4 at the plate.

Game Overview

The Bison jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first inning. In the bottom half of the inning, the Chargers cut the lead in half. The Green and White held onto a 9-2 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth. The Chargers scored four runs to cut the lead to 9-6. In the ninth, the Bison tacked on another run to keep the lead out of the Chargers reach.
