Men's Lacrosse: Eight Bison Score in 19-7 Win at Franciscan

Steubenville, Ohio – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team traveled across the Ohio River to face PAC rival the Franciscan University Barons Monday evening. The Bison coasted to a 19-7 victory. Eight different scorers saw the back of the net for the Bison. The Green and White were led by Tristan Shaffer with five goals. Joshua Allegra added four goals and two assists. Tyler Britton led the Bison with four assists.

GAME OVERVIEW

Franciscan scored the first goal of the game but Bethany wasn't too far behind the Barons in scoring. The Bison netted three goals in a row to gain control of the game. The Bison led 4-3 at the end of the first quarter.

The Bison scored the first three goals in the second quarter before a Barons goal would break up the scoring streak of the Bison.  Bethany led 9-4 heading into the half.

The Green and White continued the hot sticks, scoring six goals to build a 15-5 lead heading into the final quarter. The Barons scored the first two goals of the final quarter but the Bison were prepared to answer back. Bethany scored four goals in the fourth quarter.
