XC: Two Runners Medal at the La Roche Invite

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Bethany Cross Country team went to Pittsburgh for the LaRoche invitational. While Bethany did not compete in the team event, Bison found success in the individual standings.

Alexander Blair placed sixth in the 5k. Blair cruised through the finish line in 19:23, a time that narrowly beats his season best by two seconds. It's worth noting that Blair placed first out of all NCAA DIII competition at the event, outrunning his nearest DIII competitor by exactly half a minute. 

Mary Tracey was the first Bison to cross the line in the women's 5k. The Sophomore earned a medal, placing eighth among the field. Tracey finished in 25:59, her fastest time of the season by over 30 seconds.

The Bison will prepare for the President Athletic Conference Championship next Saturday. That race will be held at Grove City, with the first race beginning at 11 a.m.
