Junior Chase Kinemond Named PAC Offensive Player of the Week

Sept. 19 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – Bethany College quarterback Chase Kinemond (Shadyside, Ohio/Shadyside) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 57-47 loss to Thiel on Saturday.

Kinemond had one of the best offensive days in Bethany College history against the Tomcats. He completed 39 of 50 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns. His 39 completions put him at third on the all-time PAC single-game record books.

He also managed to pick up 94 yards on the ground on 21 carries while finding the end zone three times, twice from one-yard out and once from eight yards away.

Coach Bill Garvey is pleased with how the junior has developed, "Chase really had a break out game this past Saturday. His ability to run has added a welcome dimension to our offense and we expect it to continue as the season moves on."

With his performance, he racked up 511 offensive yards, a single-game record for the College.

Kinemond will look to fuel the Bison this week when they return home to host Westminster on Saturday in a game set to kickoff at 6p.m.
