Volleyball: Bison Down Cougars

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Bethany College volleyball team traveled to Pittsburgh for a PAC match against the Chatham Cougars at the Athletics & Fitness Center Thursday evening.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• Bethany swept Chatham (25-17, 27-25, 25-22)
• The Bison and Cougars battled back and forth in all three sets
• In set two, the Cougars clawed back into the match after trailing 24-19. The Bison regained the lead and takes the second set
• In the third set the Bison took a 6-2 lead but Cougars battled back and knotted the set 9-9 and battled back and forth with the Bison, with the Bison coming out on top

BY THE NUMBERS

• Senior Jess Moore led the Bison with 13 kills
• Brooke Corley registered a team high 25 digs
• Olivia Koehler had 14 digs and Paige Allen added 13
• Emma Marthins led the Bison with five blocks

Bethany returns to action on Saturday, October 16 against the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets inside Hummel Field House at 1 pm.
