Bison cross country teams compete at Behrend Invite

ERIE, Pa. (Sept. 15) – The Bethany College cross country teams participated in the Penn State-Behrend Invitational Friday evening.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

  • The Bison men were led by a trio of top-40 finishers, including senior Ryan Donnelly (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills), who finished with a time of 30 minutes, 12.7 seconds to take 34th place out of 55 participants.
  • The Bethany women's team was paced by senior Michaela Ross (Wahiawa, Hawaii/Leilehua) who crossed the final tape at 22 minutes, 10.8 seconds to claim 34th overall place out of 53 runners.
  • Junior Alexander Michalenko (Moon Twp., Pa./OLSH) and senior Lucas Liriano (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) finished 36th and 38th overall to aide the men's team.

UP NEXT

  • Bethany will have a pair of weeks off before returning to competition on Saturday, October 7 at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
  • The meet will take place at Schenley Park.
