Bison run at PAC Championships; Castro earns All-PAC

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 28) – The Bethany College cross country teams ran in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Saturday morning on the campus of Westminster College.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Junior Jordan Castro (Wahiawa, Hawaii/Leilehua) led the men's team and earned himself All-PAC Honorable Mention honors with a 17th overall finish. Castro crossed the final tape at 27 minutes, 18.49 seconds to earn all-conference honors for the second year in a row.
- Senior Ryan Donnelly (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) recorded a 30th overall time of 27 minutes, 58.87 seconds to finish behind Castro on the men's side.
- Senior Michaela Ross (Wahiawa, Hawaii/Leilehua) finished 36th overall to lead the women's team. She posted a final time of 26 minutes, 12.43 seconds to pace the Bison.
- Senior Elizabeth Timas (Middlefield, Ohio/Cardinal) placed second on the team and 48th overall with a final time of 27 minutes, 11.26 seconds on the six-kilometer course.
UP NEXT
- The Bison teams will travel to Newville, Pennsylvania for the NCAA Mideast Regional on Saturday, November 11 at Big Spring High School.
- Dickenson College is serving as the host-institution for the event.
