Baseball: Bethany Splits with Geneva

Beaver Falls, Pa. - The Bethany College baseball team traveled to Beaver Falls for a doubleheader contest Saturday afternoon. The Bison took game one, 7-0 and fell 9-1 in game two.

Game One Overview

In game one Colton Stoneman led the Bison with three RBIs and hitting 4-for-5. The Bison shutout the Golden Tornadoes in game one. Bethany scored their first three runs in the second inning. The Green and White tacked on a run in the fifth and two more in the ninth for a 7-0 victory.

Game Two Overview
Game two was all Geneva. The Golden Tornadoes opened up the bottom half of the first inning with a 2-0 lead. In the second they built a 4-0 lead. Bethany trailed Geneva 7-0 heading into the sixth. The Bison scored after Kevin Pollock doubled to left field scoring Derek Donatelli. The Golden Tornadoes added two more runs in the bottom half to take a 9-1 lead.
