Men's tennis defeated by Thomas More, 8-1

BETHANY, W.Va. (April 9) - The Bison were dealt an 8-1 loss by Thomas More in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match Sunday morning.

The loss drops the Bethany College men's tennis team to 3-4 overall, 2-1 in the PAC. Meanwhile, the Saints improve to 11-5 this season, 5-1 in league play.

Sophomore Rhone Thrash (Parkersburg, W.Va./Parkersburg South) claimed the lone tally for the Bison on the day. He won No. 1 singles in straight-sets (6-2, 6-4) over Derrick Kwok. Kwok is a two-time PAC Player of the Week this season for Thomas More.

The Bison are back on the court on Wednesday, April 12 when they host Saint Vincent for a league-match at the Ewing Tennis Courts at 4 p.m.
