Bethany falls to W&J, 7-2

BETHANY, W.Va. (April 14) - The Bethany College men's tennis fell to Washington and Jefferson 7-2 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on Friday.

With the loss, Bethany sits at 3-6 on the year and 2-3 in the PAC, while W&J improves to 8-7 overall and 4-2 in the league.

After falling in all three doubles matches, Drake Berlin (Washington Court House, Ohio/Washington) won the second singles match in three sets, taking the final two 6-1, 12-10. 

Jack Waters (Epsom, United Kingdom/Glyn School) needed three sets to capture fourth singles, after falling 6-3 in the first set, he took home the final two 7-6 and 11-9.

Next up, Bethany hosts Thiel on Tuesday, April 18 with the match set to begin at 4 p.m.
