PAC releases Indoor Track & Field Preseason Polls

Greenville, Pa – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its preseason polls for men's and women's indoor track and field. Bethany College was picked to finish eighth on the men's side, while the women were tabbed to finish tied for seventh.

Last season, the men finished the 2018-19 season seventh overall. Senior Chas Blango is expected to lead the Bison after finishing second last season at the PAC Indoor Championships. Blango is joined by fellow senior teammate Hunter Klein, and sophomores Ben Fedoush and Keyohn Thompson on the PAC Athletes to Watch list.

On the women's side, the Bison finished the season seventh overall. Senior Shaylyn Gower and sophomores Grace Chambers, and Riley Meyers are expected to lead the Green and White this season. Joining the trio of returners on the PAC Athletes to Watch list is freshman Danielle Williams.

Geneva claimed the top spot in the men's preseason coaches' poll after totaling seven first-place votes and 88 combined points. While Westminster secured the top spot in this season's preseason poll earning four first-place votes and 81 total points.

This year's PAC Championships are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 and will once again be held at Youngstown State's WATTS. Events are tentatively scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The NCAA Division III Championships are slated for Friday-Saturday, March 13-14 and will held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Bison open up the indoor track and field season on Saturday, January 18 when they travel to Marietta, Ohio for the Pioneer Open.
