Prior to the season being interrupted, how was the year going - what was the team's expectations and goals?

The year was going well. A lot of people had personal bests and the team had quite a few records broken. Even if we weren't ranked first in the PAC, we were a very strong team. Our goals were to keep our strong energy moving forward to have a killer season.

What are your personal career goals? Jobs, internships, interests moving forward?

I want to become a Physical Therapist. I just finished doing a bunch of internship hours and now all I need to do is to take the GRE and start applying to grad schools after I graduate from Bethany.

Do you have any advice for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Bethany?

Even though Bethany is a division 3 school, don't take that for granted. School is important for sure, but it's best to find the balance of sports, social life, and grades as quickly as possible. You may not figure that out until you're a junior but being able to incorporate all of those things into your everyday life is a great skill to have for life in general.

What has it meant to you being a Bison?

Getting involved. Even if you aren't in a sport, being a bison is all about putting yourself in new and different environments that will challenge you. There are many clubs and organizations that will teach you skills that you won't learn anywhere else. Getting involved also helps you establish relationships with people you may not talk to or see regularly.

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?

Everyone really: my parents, my sister, my friends, my coaches, and even my professors.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused the 2020 spring sports to be cancelled. Bethany College wants to thank all of our seniors for representing the Bison in a positive manner and for all their hard work and dedication over their careers at Bethany.
