Bison Break Multiple School Records at PAC Championships

Youngstown, Ohio – The Bethany College men's and women's indoor track team competed at the PAC Indoor Championships Thursday afternoon. The men finished fifth while the women finished sixth.

The Bison had multiple school records broken led by senior thrower Chas Blango who broke both the PAC Indoor Championship record and the Bethany College record with a launch of 15.82 meters.

Riley Meyers ran a new school record of 9.28 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles which was good for a third place finish.

Shae Reinbeau finished fourth in the 5000 meter run with a new school record time of 19:21.30.

Shaylyn Gower had a day at the PAC Championships winning the 200 meter and the 60 meter in personal record times.

Raekwon Wright took first in the long jump with a landing spot of 6.96 meters.

The Bison swept the 400 with wins from Grace Chambers and Hunter Klein. Klein also finished sixth in the 200 meter. Freshman Donnie Scott finished fourth in the 200 meter with a time of 22.86.

Keyohn Thompson finished second for the Bison in the 60 meter with a time of 7.04 seconds.

Bethany's Shaylyn Gower and Daeshon Green were named to the PAC All-Sportsmanship Team concluding the Championships.
