Prior to the season being interrupted, how was the year going - what was the team's expectations and goals?

I had an indoor season and I was trying to enjoy every moment since it was my last season. I was working hard and I felt confident trying new events, such as the mile. I think the team had and has a lot of potential, and we become very close.

What are your personal career goals? Jobs, internships, interests moving forward?

For now, I am trying to get a computer science related job in the US. Once I get experience and confidence on what I do I will try to look for my dream job in computer science. I think the world is very big and full of amazing places and I wouldn't mind travelling with my job.

Do you have any advice for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Bethany?

I would say to enjoy and make memories because it goes by very fast. To try to be the best version of yourself and set short and long term goals, in academics and athletics.

What has it meant to you being a Bison?

It was a pleasure, it felt like a family and I think I made good friendships. These years definitely shaped me, now I try to do exercise every day, even if it's just 10 minutes, is a good relief and it makes me feel good with my body.

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?

My family, my mother a lot, my teammates and coaches, specially coach Guinn and Luke (soccer GA), and my tutor Fujiko Nito.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused the 2020 spring sports to be cancelled. Bethany College wants to thank all of our seniors for representing the Bison in a positive manner and for all their hard work and dedication over their careers at Bethany.
